Been offered a set of team dynamics pro race 1.2 with 205/40/17 tyres on for my vrs spiders.

Will 204/4017 be ok on my vrs ? The spiders have 205/50/17 on them.

They will fit ok, it's just the side wall profile is lower, which means a stiffer ride as there is less side wall deflection. It won't fill the wheel arches as much either.

Also the speedo over reads i have this size on mine, as long as your awaare of it its not a problem. 100 on the clock is about 85 and a bit! i find the ride ok, turn in is great!

They will look like wrong rims bud, a very small tyre, they tend to look like baby wheels on a daddy car lol
