I've Just read an interesting letter in Jaguar Enthusiast Magazine.

According to Esso customer care ,Esso Energy Supreme Petrol (97 octane.)

is Ethanol free ( unless in Devon /Cornwall,Teesside or Scotland.)

Apparently there is no Government requirement to add it to super unleaded fuels, and Esso have no intention of adding it in the future...

I'll be putting it in my Mark 2 Jaguar once I've used up the Shell super currently in it.

That is likely then fuel they produce themselves and not that Produced and supplied by Greenergy to Esso Independents

and the areas mentioned.

I like the Greenergy Produced 'Tesco Momentum 99' which is a minimum 99 Octane (with Ethanol.)
