Pollen Filter Access

Featured Replies

Thanks all for the answer to the Cambelt question. Decided to leave until 60k.

I do however have another question which I know the answer has come up on previous threads, only I did a search any nothing related to my question.

and the question.

Just how do you access the pollen filter? I can see where it is but cannot seem to be able to remove the plastic cover incorporating the wipers.

Any Ideas?

Sorry, forgot to mention that the car is an Octavia Estate 52 plate

You dont need to remove the scutte trim. Ease the front up and hold with one hand. Stick your other hand in there and relase the two tags at the front of the frame. Lift the front edge of the filter up and withdraw.

Refitting is the reverse of removal, just make sure you have the frame in properly and the two back tags slot in to it sits flush or you will get water leaks.

Just had another go

Who the B***** hell put it there!

The frame seems to be fitting correctly, will have to wait for the rain now.
