VCDS & Diagnosis help

Featured Replies

Recently had the traction control light come on and stay on whilst driving to work. Then on the way home the engine management light came on and both are now still on. After a search on here I'm reckoning it's either a ABS sensor (possibly rear) or the MAF. Engine is still pulling and driving fine. Is there anybody local to Huddersfield / Brighouse area who has VCDS and can scan the car for me.

Is this request for your Ford Puma?

Thanks revrend for the offer, was hoping to find somebody a little closer to home. Am going to try a bit of trail and error and check the MAF and see if I can work something out. Might still come back to you on your offer tho :)

Hello, could somebody help?

I'd like to have a dignostic cable, and i saw tha vag12-12 cable are prett cheap and should work with cars after 2005.

So do You have an experience with it? Of course, i guess i need the vcds software, but iam asking now only the cable -> if it is okey

Thanks cheers

Cables which are advertised for sale along with a specific version of VCDS - for example 12.12 - are counterfeit and the software is hacked so you use the package at your own risk. A genuine Ross-Tech interface cable will work with whatever the latest version of VCDS software is and subsequent updates.
