@vrskeith - Can you get one in white with red stripes and wheel webs? I'm sure you could add on your subtle changes at a price of course.Go do it Ken

See one of these in the flesh tonight.

Quite like the look of this.

I saw one for the first time on Tuesday. Thought it was a CC then saw the name and thought WTF. It was nice but no way I'd pay the asking price for a VW.

Does anybody pay the asking price these day, as a high % have PCP deals orvsimilar, with Manufacturer / Dealer  deposit contribution and or use of discounter or lowest price lease deals. Think BMW and other do exactly the same.

Nice GT3 I spotted in Kyoto the other day B)

Not a fan.   It reminds me of those Special Edition Ducati Oakleys that were available a few years ago; the red wing mirrors and spoiler ends spoil it for me.

I appreciate the level of detail and thought gone into and options/spec though.

EDIT:  Audi R8 Oil filler cap?

Ok I have two for today, me and the wee man (who suffers from ASD) took a wee trip down to the luxury car garages near our house for a nosy.

Here's my first one

The Jaguar F Type, looks stunning in the blue but I think if I wanted a all out F Type and could afford 80k it would be the F Type 400

version.

My second car forgiving the ugly looks of the standard versions is the Civic Type R, in black it just looks the business, it looks functional and more agressive than the focus RS.

Thoughts??

Well Davy, I couldn't agree with you more.

F type - IMO it's the best looking car on sale today.  From every angle they just look perfect.   I lad at work has the SVR version in Firesand Orange and I couldn't stop walking around it and just looking!

Civic Type R - My guilty pleasure (OK, that's actually Steph McGovern, BBC Presenter but on the car front it's the Type R).  They look bloody hideous and you can actually spec more spoilers and fancy down force trinkets but I would love one.  I don't actually know why they appeal to me as I can't pinpoint anything visually nice about them.  I just know I like it!

the Type R is such a manga-cartoon / caricature of what a hot hatch should look like, all wings, and sharp-edged  bumps and creases that I have to respect it for being "all out" and getting away with it.

Well, this wins today for me

Double WoW,

Here’s mine for today.

A bucket list car for me and today I managed to get a passenger ride in one at a car show. The club the Sporting Bears were doing passenger rides for a kids charity in the Borders and out of the cars and a quick toss up between a Focus RS and this, this won, it might be underpowered and slower by modern day cars like the Focus RS but the way the car delivers its savage acceleration and the turbo lag, it’s a pretty rapid machine, only driver aid being abs, mechanical power steering, mechanical 4x4 drive system compared to the computer wizardry of today’s cars. On the twisty country roads this thing stuck to the road like glue and I felt totally confident in the drivers ability.

Jamie forgot to turn off the gas rings . Ended up with the VW Pukka Conversion

24 in wheels  and a big engine super charged built by Ron Berry ,man not robot built

OK, they used Type 25s rather than Type 2s, but Porsche built some (3 or 4) Microbuses with 911 engines and gearboxes.

Seeing and hearing this is quite an experience.

Top motor with top shifter. Brilliant video.

Just love mine, in my Boxster 981, Golf R MK7 hatch and now my UPGTI but this is something else.
