My car has had a little wee

Featured Replies

picked my mate up tonight with the intention of going for a drink at a nice pub with a large bear garden in Oldham. On the way there pressed the clutch to change down from 3rd to 2nd and clutch remained on the floor  and no gear selected so quickly pulled over realizing that the original clutch had given up. Unfortunately its gone three  months before I was planning to replace the clutch, fly and slave cylinder. with OEM fly, cylinder and a CG motorsport stage 2 clutch.

AA came out and said that the slave cylinder had given up. So ended up on a low loader to the house so now I have to sort out the parts and hopefully my trusty garage can do the work next logistical challenge is getting the car to them. :'(

However the bonus was both AA guys first words were "nice car!"

but my car still hates me. :wall:

My 1.4mpi did this one time, the clutch pedal went dead on the floor. I raised it with my foot, worked properly till I got home. The very second day I had my clutch bleeded and it's working perfectly. This happened in December 2013.

Unfortunately its beyond bleeding as its dumped all the hydraulic fluid on the road :(
