Adding Front Assist to a leased Scout?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to add Front Assist to a leased car that has already been delivered or would it be too late?

If it was possible, would the prices be the same as the Skoda website?

Thanks

The short answer is no.

The long answer is that you'd need a new lower grille, the radar assembly, possibly other parts and then get it coded and enabled (probably not possible without Skoda's assistance).
That won't be cheap, and you would also need permission from the lease company.

If it was possible I would expect it will cost much more than price in the brochure (maybe 3 or 4 times).

Why in particular do you want to add Front Assist ?

Thank you both for the responses.

I do not know why but I thought the Scout came with front assist and it was a nice feature to have as my wife will be driving up the motorway with the kids so that added peace of mind, would have been a bonus....

The best thing is to go to a dealer & ask them.

You should also double check how Front Assist is working because I believe it reacts differently in highway & city conditions.

Adaptive Cruise Control also uses the same sensor so if you are going to pay for Front Assist it may not be that much more to add ACC as well (if its possible).
