Hi guys i drove my 2006 tfsi vrs to work today. Came to start it again 2 minutes later and nothing. No dash lights and no attempt to start. No relay clicks just completly dead

Stereo works windows & lights work though and battery is fine

Any ideas where to start looking? I wont be back with the car until tomorrow morning. Unfortunatley i'm 25 miles from home :(

Someone had a similar problem recently and it was the main power relay.

Thanks for rhe reply. Is that under steering column or under dash?

Whereabouts in Sheff are you from?

Hope you manage to sort the car out

May be under your bonnet, if you Google main power relay for your car should give you a part number and possibly location. I have a 1.9 pd sorry so wouldn't know.

Ordered the relay from skoda. Wont be in stock until tuesday infortunately.

Part number 1K0951253A

Hopefully this solves the problem. If not then it will have to go to skoda for investigation

Car has now gone to people who know what they are doing so i dont just throw money at it blindly. Fingers crossed its a simple and cheap fix
