Would a 17 inch alloy with 205/40/17 tyre fit in the spare wheel slot in the boot of the fabia?

While back i bought 16inch octavia spiders with octavia size wheel and it wouldn't fit in.

Any suggestions on this?

Technically, all 14-17 inches wheels should have the same outer diameter, if they do have fitted the correct tires. So yes, it should fit.

Yes it will. I've had a 17" Spider and now a 17" Evolo in the spare wheel well with that size tyre.
