More bloody rattling

Featured Replies

Hi folks

Just changed the arb bushes at the weekend (standard rubber, the vrs is my daily, roads r terrible plus it's already on coilovers) to try sort out a clunking noise front the front. Whilst THAT clunking has gone, it seems like another has become apparent but i can feel it down at my feet quite a bit. It only happens on really rough roads or speed bumps. I've bought top mount bushes and a dog bone bush. What do you folks reckon.

Btw drop links, wishbones and bushes have just been done.

Cheers in advance.

Were the ball joints done with the wishbones?

Could also be track rod ends or the steering arm joints inside the rack bellows.

New ball joints were on the wishbones when they were replaced and it got new track rod ends too. I'm hearing about shorter droplinks as this clunking has come about since I changed the arb bushes. The last ones were proper goosed. Would shorter droplinks help? Thanks for your response matey.

changed my arb bushes at the weekend too,and found it caused another rattle.turned out it was the droplinks even though they were'nt that old,and did'nt look that bad.
