Heated Seats

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted heated seats to the Octi vRS.?

I want to know what needs to be done, IE, are the heating elements allready in the seats? is the wiring allready laid in the car? Is it just a case of getting new seats/dash switches/confign'g the ecu?

Are you sure the heating elements are already in the seats? Sounds rediculous to me!

Perhaps someone with ETKA can confirm or otherwise?

i doubt the seats have the elements in already as they are not shared with any other car in the range.

i also doubt the car has the wiring laid as the vRS is hand assembled in the factory from the chassis upwards.

the L&K is also hand assembled in the same factory but i wouldnt have thought they would use the parts unless they were building the specific model.

i might be talking crap but i would have thought its not worth the hassle.

to be honest even if i had heated seats i wouldnt use them, the heaters dry the leather out really badly so unless your always treating it you'll end up with shabby looking seats.
