I bought a Karcher snow foam lance that was on offer in a local store but it won't fit my Aldi power washer. The two lugs are too wide to fit into the main body of the lance. Cheapest or intermediate solution is the file down method obviously....

 

Alternatively get a new screw on fitment for the lance and re-fit.

 

Or upgrade the Gun and hose to Karcher fitment to match the foam lance;

if you upgrade the hose you can order a 10metre or longer, for example - which is a useful upgrade too   

Don't File it down OR get a new Gun and Hose..No need at all!!..Unless you want a longer one

Just get a new screw on fitment for the lance

It appears that my Karcher lance has the same screw-on fitting that is shown in the link. The Aldi gun requires narrower lance lugs than the Karcher gun even though Karcher made the Aldi washer.

If you look in the link and change the fitting, they should have one to fit

Will. It does mean you have to hold the gun sideways but it does the job superbly.

Ah yes - I see the issue there; typical Karcher/Powercraft design limitation.

 

Would it be possible to adjust the original foam lance fitting a further +/-90deg?

Or look at getting the correct fitting longer term perhaps?
