Years ago I bought a genuine back box from a dealer that was moving mega cheap

It's come time to fit it as mines starting to peel and rot

Only thing is its 48mm od compared to mine at 54mm od , so I guess it's from an sdi or lower horse tdi

My question is will it be a big impact on performance? Or no be a issue as it's standard minus 160 intake and boost hoses replaced for stainless and silicone

I'll plan a remap at some point also?

Probably not if you flare it out to fit rest of the system. Will you also cut and shut the tailpipe to it?

Sorry fitting won't be a issue like you said I'll flare one side and clamp it up

Just wondered if anyone knew if they'll be a restriction noticeable or not
