Knocking noise

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was driving home from work at around midnight - got detoured because of some roadworks. I put my foot down a little to make up for for some lost ground (8 mile detour) and when I hit a certain speed I could hear a knocking / flapping noise coming from the front of the car. I put my food down again and when I hit a certain speed the knocking / flapping noise happened again. I usually plod along at 60mph so does anyone have any ideas what it could be or should I just ignore it?

I drive a 2007 fabia VRS if that's any help.

Cheers

Dave

Cheers for the speedy reply lads. I'll look into what that is and have a look (not much of an idea when it comes to stuff to do with cars, but hands on I'm a fast learner)

Hopefully it's that.
