Hi. Any body with a manual TDI had clutch or footrest vibrations start or always been there? Wondering if I am going to have a DMF problem soon. Very slight sporadic vibration on both clutch pedal and footrest at idle, just started at 30000 kms. 1st service done this week, dealer said cant feel anything, seems normal so ....

Mines at the dealer at the moment having the DMF replaced! It's done 55k miles. Symptom was metallic rattling at idle, but only intermittent and stops when you lift the clutch as the revs automatically rise slightly, did it every day for over a week, but as soon as I took it to dealer it stopped displaying symptoms, thankfully I recorded it which was enough to cover further diagnosis under warranty and they have now authorised replacement so hopefully all good, should get it back middle of next week.
