Noise . . .

Paranoid?

So recently ive noticed my charger wining seems a little louder than it use too, I've had the car since November last year. It's just hit 20k and is an early 2012 with the CAVE engine. I have no oil or dsg issues. Car drives great.

I'm pretty sure im just being paranoid but thought id post encase someone else has also noticed this?

Thanks.

Maybe because of the warm weather you are having your window open more often and hence hearing it more clearly?

Mine is a cthe with 3k on and its its always been loud. Sounds ace

Yes paranoid.

More Supercharger noise is a good thing.

Maybe time to change the Spark Plugs if not done already,

and have a look at the Air Filter, but maybe as well to change it.

That could be the reason!

Haha very true, I was only saying to my other half i wish the charger was louder and a few days later i somehow came to the conclusion it sounded louder but then got me thinking.

From the service book it seems it has been Serviced twice already. last one was 10k ago so i'll get it booked in.

I take it the Supercharger is only to 3,500 rpm, there is no Supercharger after that.

@ 3 Years old it is only a Minor Oil & Filter Service.

But the Brake Fluid gets changed at 3 years old. Extra cost. see if they will do the Brake Fluid for £50 or less.

Best get the Spark Plugs changed, but you could use an Independent Garage rather than a Skoda Dealer.

That is if the Skoda Dealership want, £130 for the Minor Service,

£50 for Brake Fluid

& £110 for Spark Plugs.

£290 Total.

A VW Dealership might even charge less.

Yeah thats right.

From the service info it had the brake fluid changed last year.

I can sort the plugs myself.

I'll just have a minor service from Skoda to keep the records in tact.
