My mate has a few fault codes on his B8 Audi 2.0 tdi. I've scanned the codes and found 4.

 

First 3 relate to DPF which are P2452, P2453 and P2454. Sensor or wiring fault seems to come up as possible cause on all codes but code it just be a clogged DPF and can VCDS force a regen?

usually a duff sensor will lead to incorrect pressure or temp readings.

any of which will cause regen failure.

yes vcds should be able to trigger a forced mobile regen but only once all the other faults are cured.

Thanks. I've cleared the codes for now to see what comes back. With 3 codes relating to the dpf i wasn't sure if it was a clogged dpf flagging other codes, or was it a duff sensor flagging more than one code.
