Does the chrome part of the grill come out? I want to spray it black like the car! Chrome bit is looking tired and thought this was the easiest option.

Yes it can be removed there are tabs which you can get to from behind (under the bonnet) carefully use a screw driver to prize them out.

Emphasise on the word carefully! I snapped mine in two pieces lol
