Lube or annual???

It is outrageous that 3 main dealers within 50 miles of each other have such huge discrepancies in what they charge. Guess where I'm going ..............

Just make sure you get the right 10k service! There are two, the lube (just an oil and filter change) and the annual service (lube + inspection).

If one does 12k miles per year and after 10k miles and 10 months you get a 10k oil service, does that mean you have to get an annual one in another 2 months 2k miles time??

Or does than annual one only for low milage cars e.g. 6k per annum?

It's only worth alternating between lube and annual services if you are doing close to 20k a year or more.

If you are only doing 12k a year then you will need to have the annual service done every 10k.

Is that from Slackys??

Where????

Quote from Philip Wilks in Darlo!

think this has been argued on another thread!!!

the way i see it is that you MUST have a lube service at 10K and regardless of mileage an annual service every 12 months!!

oh dear - Think we've been here before!!

This has been discussed several times. I was one who does 18-20K a year. Car was 7 months old at 10K. Various dealers wanted to charge me the full
