Full Throttle

Featured Replies

Just a quick one. I've always found 100% throttle to be a little pointless below a certain rev point in all my TDI's. For all this time, I've thought it was normal. Does anyone else think its normal?

For example:

3rd gear, 1500RPM > Dump Throttle to 100% > Next to no acceleration till later on > very low torque feeling (push into seat feeling)

Normal driving:

2nd gear idle - 2000ishRPM 20 - 30 % throttle > increase accelerator slowly > high torque feeling.

Is this just a characteristic of a turbo diesel or am i talking s%^??
