Engine management light confusion

Featured Replies

Hi. I've noticed today that the engine management light isn't going off with the rest of the lights when I first put the key in the ignition but as soon as I start the engine it turns off.

It's running perfectly so I'm not sure if it's me being stupid and not noticing that this is normal until now or if it's an actual problem.

My gut tells me it's not right but I wanted to get some advice before taking it in to get looked at. Does anyone know what might be making it happen?

I've got a warranty on the car so getting it fixed, hopefully, won't be an issue but it'd be handy to have some idea of what the issue is before speaking to the garage.

Thanks in advance!!

Perfectly normal :)
