Makes me mad

Featured Replies

Some muppet in an audi overtook me last nite on a road that had recently had chippings put on it. It had a 40mph limit which i was sticking to. He blasted by at what must have been 80!

He pulled in right in front of me and scattered my poor old VRS in stone chippings.

It made a right racket as chip after chip smashed into my pride and joy.

Windscreen now has lots of dents and the bonnet has been damaged too.

What a git

You should have got his number - someones has just been fined for driving through a puddle and soaking a council worker. I think the charge is inconsiderate driving. You could probably claim damages too.

Wait till the winter and the grit lorries, made my octy look like it had been through a sandblaster. Not to bad though as the colour of the car hid most of them, however I can imagine what a black one will look like with its light coloured primer.

I wish i had managed to get his number, but i was still recovering from the shock of being pelted by high velocity chippings!

I hate chippings, they're evil things, i guess they must be a cheap alternative to proper resurfacing.

I hate chippings' date=' they're evil things, i guess they must be a cheap alternative to proper resurfacing.[/quote']

Hence the phrase Cheap as chips ?
