Can someone please help me. 

 

I have taken the heater control panel to reconnect the flexi rod which controls the direction of air flow for the heating but I can not see where it connect to the inner part of the system.....I've found myself taking pieces apart to no avail.

 

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I did mine the other week after forgetting to reconnect you will need to remove your foot rest 10mm plastic nut thing at the top I left mine in but would be easier to remove the trim at the side too then

If you look up the side of your clutch pedal there is a a gear which you can rotate and there is a small grey stubb in a one way fitting and a long part acting as a clip to hold in place

This is to attach to the side of the actual heater box and not the dial is this what you mean by inner ?

I will have a look at the area you are telling me about! I couldn't get the trim below the heating controls off, the one that goes around each side and meets the floor they seem attached with something!

If you take the centre console out the bit you're talking about just pulls down and comes away. It's got little clips thst just pull apart. You won't break them.

Can you give me a little guidance on how to pull them please? I tried for a while to get it off but to no avail!!!
