PD170 kangarooing occasionally

Hi All,

I have an issue where im driving along quite happily then the car loses power, like the turbo cuts out just for a few seconds, its often fine for a while then its ok, then it does it again. The other day it did it so badly the car stopped.

I scannd with VCDS and it threw up a cam sensor code, so I had that changed, the car felt different to drive, i was confident it was fixed, then it did it again this morning, but about 4 times in 1/4 of a mile.

No error codes this time.

I do hear a clicking under the dash when it does it, could it be a symptom or a reason, I dont know?

I was going to check the ECU plug is connected properly first off as I have had some funnies recently so can someone point me in the direction of the ECU.

Other than that anyone had this before?
