Just saying hello

Featured Replies

Hello everybody

After driving a company car for about a year, VW Polo 1.2  () decided on getting new daily. Always been a petrol head, Alfa’s, Mercedes,...

First had my mind set on a F30 318/320d M-Sport.  But I’ve always liked the look of the Skoda Octavia combi, so certainly a great alternative, driven it, great feel, smooth power. Nice specs for small price. So I found one in the showroom, smiling at me. Metal Grey vRS TDI, DSG. Columbus, ACC, PSD, Kessy…

Picked it up last Saturday (lovely RS230 in the showroom), and immediately after only 50km already handed over the keys. Willingly that is! The car was getting the Gyeon Mohs+ quartz coating. For those not familiar with Gyeon: it’s a type of paint sealant/coating, call it a permanent HQ wax. Should be good for 24 months.

RS230 replacing my car in the showroom

So tomorrow I’ll be picking up the car, leaving on holiday thursday, car will be run in by the time I’ll get to Austria (about 1400km). Might be giving it a bit of spanking on the autobahn the way back.

Things to do:

update Columbus if needed

Protect leather seats with Gyeon Leathercoat

Some vcds tweaking

Bumper protector

vRs seat handle inserts

vRs foot rest
