SKODA fabia display not working

Featured Replies

Hi, I recently bought a skoda fabia Classic HTP 1.2 2003. It's in great working condition but the central display doesn't seem to work! When I turn the engine on, the warnings lights appear and then go. And I don't know to to turn the display on so it will show me temperature etc! I don't have a rocker or reset button on the wiper switch! I only have the button on dash next to the speedo and mileage (one tap resets Miles to 0)

It doesn't have one, it's meant to be blank.

Classic spec doesn't show extras usually.

Oh right! Just wondered why there was a screen there if it isn't meant to work?

It should show some warning lights.

If you shine a torch on it you might see other warning lights that don't show up on yours.

Traction control, abs, brake pad warning, screen wash warning, seat belt warning etc etc

The same clocks are used on most the models so say a 1.4 16v comfort might have the same clocks but will have the lights on to suit the spec of the car.
