Nissan NX100.....

Featured Replies

.....looking at getting one of these as a daily / bit of fun / old git car, to replace the Scout.

What are people's experiences with these? What to look out for? Known issues etc. (I know security is non-existant, but that's not hard to deal with.)

I know it's a few steps down from the toy-laden, CANBus-driven techo-toy that is the Scout, but I've still got the Elegance for all that, just fancy a simple no-frills, back to basics, bit of fun.......and the T-top too ;) ;)

All opinions welcome :)

200sx might make a better old toy

I reckon it will be easier to find a non-ruined 100nx than a 200sx.

I'd sooner walk.

Or get the best MR2 or MX5 my budget would allow.

I agree with this.  There's a reason why MR2s and MX-5s were popular and sold well, and there's a reason why the NX100 wasn't......

Yeah, the 200sx's all seem to up for drifting.....I had a Sierra once-upon-a-time and a Marina before that.......sideways got boring. ;) ;)

Theyre the only thing I can think of that can rust faster than a felicia pickup.

My 1963 Vauxhall Viva with rear cartsprings took a roundabout sideways once. At 20 miles an hour. Didn't need speed for thrills.

Drifting is what hired transits are for.
