Well I

Nice one

Mmmmmmmm Milltek.

and I know what you mean with the turbo whistle. Imagine what it's like when you have a hybrid with even more boost :D

Interesting first mod - well done mate

There are plenty more to choose from :D

Any difference in Performance, other then making it louder, and did u remove the cat?

Oooh, thats a top first mod imo. Good preparation for later mods too

I had the full system fitted, including Sports cat and although I don't think its made any difference to the power or torque. I have noticed that the throttle response is better and the turbo lag has been reduced a small bit.

I like the look of the new twin pipe and the fact that it's now stainless steel throughout with a lifetime guarantee.

Nice. U got pic of tail pipes?

today I can
I've recently had the Milltek fitted too and also found myself turning off the stereo at times to listen to the different noise.

When I had the fmic fitted the engine note changed and now I have the exhaust fitted too.. well it's quite something.

Right from the second I turn the key to start the car I get a :D

It really has become a different beast since having the mods done.

Did the fmic make a difference to the noise?

Do you still get diesel clatter when starting up or is it drowned out by milltek?

I had the fmic fitted first and yes the engine note did change, I think it was the turbo noise but I don't know enough about the workings of the car, maybe someone else can explain why it sounded different. I think someone else commented on this in the Forge Motorsport section.

As for the diesel clatter, i'm sure that would still be there but when you first turn the key, from the inside of the car you can really hear the difference in that initial boot up note. I don't have a clue what it sounds like from outside though. I like the Milltek as it's not too noisy when just pottering about but put your foot down and it really comes to life. :)
