Hi all,

Trying to replace the headlight switch in my car (mk1 fabia vrs, September 06), bought one off of eBay. It arrived and the connections on the back are different. The large plug behind the main switch is the same shape but The plug behind the height adjustment and the dial brightness is a different shape. The original one in my car is a thinner narrow one with the one I bought being a thicker square.

Unfortunately any others I see for sale all seem to be the wrong one. Plus I don't see any mention of two different part numbers for these [emoji53] even skoda parts is showing the wrong one.

Now I have managed to use parts from both to fix my issues but the cover which they join to won't attach to the hybrid version I now have lol It's not 100% right but looks ok. I would like a complete replacement if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I've discovered there are about 4 different variants for the headlight switch on the Fabia

There are slight difference between a the main switch unit so it does not clip in properly to the cover from the other one.

You can take the cases apart and refit your other one
