Accelerator pedal cover

Featured Replies

I've today noticed my first annoyance with my fabia vRS. It's now the fouth time that I have had to put the rubber accelerator pedal cover back onto the plastic pedal.

I don't know if it's my size 12 or the way I position my feet, but i have now had to resort to spreading a liberal amount of silicon on the bottom of the cover to try and stop it from comming off.

Does anyone know of other ways to keep this cover on. I dont want to get into the situation where the cover jams the accelerator pedal fully open when it comes loose!

Not quite sure I understand what part you're talking about.

I thought all Fabia vRS cars had aluminium pedals with a few bits of rubber on the front.

Any chance of a photo to illustrate your problem ?

i had the same problem.....

simple answer - glue it on!

Me too, mine came off about 4-5 times and so has lived in the drivers door pocked for a year. Be careful if you refit it, one of the times mine came off it jammed the accelerator - luckily on an empty motorway at night. Perhaps you could glue it on?

TFBOY - it's just a cover that fits around a standard pedal.

Doesn't have one on mine, did you add it yourself?

Yep - they're not slip-on covers, they're 'under' the metal bit

came off once had a long chat to it about why it should come off, since then it's stay there like a nice little thing that it is!!
