Hub nut tool?

Featured Replies

I trie dot take my hub off and realised I haven't got the tool to remove it, it's like a big torx bit. I've searched and people say bi hex 36mm socket but it's not a socket needed. Any one help with where to get one ?

photo?

AFAIK, it needs a 12 point socket

Does it look like this? my 2005 Fabia VRS..

If so, on front hub you need a thin walled 36mm socket..

Rear hub similar but different size, if I remember correctly..

What I got from ebay was a Bergen    "5pc 1/2 " drive triple square Bit Socket Set . "  It has a set of drives from M10 to M18 . The M18 size fitted the rear hub bolt of my 06 1.9 d elegance

As brad said it has 12 points

Front is either a 30mm 12 point socket or 36mm 12 point socket. Just had same issue trying to get one of an ibiza.

I' never took a photo as I didn't have my phone at the time but it's not a socket needed, it's a m18 splined bit. As pics above show nut it's like inverted
