Hub nut tool?

Featured Replies

I trie dot take my hub off and realised I haven't got the tool to remove it, it's like a big torx bit. I've searched and people say bi hex 36mm socket but it's not a socket needed. Any one help with where to get one ?

It's for rear right wheel 57 plate octavia DSG diesel

It will be a splined bit not a torx

size should be: M18 Spline Bit

Thanks for the help. I'll have a look on the web for one.

Also if others can help where is the best place to buy ABS sensor and the hub?

Yeah its a m18 spline just had a look to see. Ive bought 2 cheap hubs off of ebay one worked perfectly the other had to be changed as it still showed the same fault they cost 25 each with new bolt and cap.

Which hubs did u buy? I don't fancy forking out 136 for skoda one as I also need a sensor which I broke the new one trying to squeeze into the hole already ha.

Cant find the link to the one i bought but i just searched for golf mk5 rear hub. To get the bew sensor in i ran a drill bit around the hole to clean it up a bit.
