Plugged phone charger into cigarette lighter but not working..checked fuse and was fine...can I replace it?where would I get one?cheers

Before you go too far,have you had a good look in the socket, I've had cars in the past where the contacts are so covered in fag ash and corrosive **** from the lighter element that you don't get a good connexion with a power plug. A good clean of the contacts (mainly the centre +ve one) gets them working again. Take the fuse out first,because you are bound to blow it by inserting a screwdriver or suchlike to scratch the contacts clean!

If its nice and clean but still doesn't work then you need to test for the presence, or lack of, of 12v.

My plug kept falling out it doesn't appear to hold in well... Remove the screws in the centre plastics around the handbrake and lift it up to have a feel about. Be careful when lowering the plastics back down as the plug especially on mine has a habit of jumping back out!
