Part of gear linkage popped off last night, anyone have the part number or know the name?

Featured Replies

Having a spirited drive last night and went to put it into fifth from fourth and it went into third! Really struggling to get 5th and 6th had a look under bonnet and seems as if a rubber bit or something has popped off one of the balls on the linkage, anyone know what it's called, have the part number or even have a spare kicking about? Pics below, cheers!

I can't see anything missing, might just need to reset the linkages.

Now I see what's missing, the bit that slides between the other selectior!

Parts base and within the pedals section is as much as I can help at the min

Not pictured or numbered but in the list near No.48 as '-' unfortunately there's 3 of em.

If you have to take that other arm off to replace it...change that that too. Only 34quid and will have worn by now (see my old post of what happens when it wears too much.

Ah yeah the plastic square slider is missing.can see it now!!!

If it's a distance, ring em, will be a next day part no matter what, also send em that pic (albeit with the missing part circled)
