Evening: I like the idea of wax samples now, was just wondering where to buy?

I have seen a few on fleabay, but is it safe to buy there?

Thanks

No idea. Sorry.

But isn't that the idea of buying samples so you can find out which you prefer?

This might be of interest: http://www.waxybox.co.uk

Or this: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sample-sizes/cat_75.html And we get a discount from CYC.

HTH.

Just to add to Karl's info....  WaxyBox have now stopped trading just recently.

WaxPack is a "surprise" based WaxyBox type option:-

Plus CleanYourRide do sample size options:-

If you want a wet look, then it is a show wax that would suit you best. But why not put a glaze underneath a wax. Autobrite Cherry Glaze is 2.99 for 100ml and that is enough to do a car. That's a great way to better the look of your car without the expensive outlay of a show wax. And if you pop a show wax over the top, it will look excellent. It won't last amazingly long though!

Sound advice Neil.

I know Auto Perfection do a sample pot of Intensify Show wax for approx £7.

Well worth testing this - not heard a bad review on this product as yet!

Great shout Ste. I've done two layers on my focus with intensify and there is more than enough in there for another!

From a glaze point of view Rutty, I mentioned Autobrite Cherry Glaze above, but the best I've found for a wet look perspective is Prima Amigo, which is the glaze Clarkey used on the below

Just bought Intensify, for starters, cannot wait now.

Guys, I've just added a second coat of dodo pro to my vrs, it was clayed and primed etc. could i just wash dry and add this show wax over the top as a final wax?

Or should i start again.

Again, many thanks for all the above.

Just add your wax over the top, not that it will add much over the DJ TBH...It will do no harm at all

As Chris says, it may add a little to the look, but not massively. Just pop it on top and see what you think.

The glaze will give you the more noticeable results. If you've got time, I would wash with a strong mix of shampoo, hand polish with prima amigo and then wax with intensify. For me, that would yield the best results, if time allows.
