and if so, what did you use?

Not sure what to paint mine (or if) either Blue to go with the race blue paint or red.....

My friend drives a silver unmarked Vrs Police dog van and the garage tried to disguise it further by painting the calipers black, but within a couple of weeks the red paint was breaking back through. If your going to do it make sure you use the proper high temp paint, unlike West Mids Police.

Haven't painted the calipers on my Octavia, but I have on my Fiesta.

 

I used Halfords red brake caliper paint as have been impressed with it. I gave mine two coats, but the paint hasn't flaked. Doesn't cost much and 1 tin was enough to do the calipers twice with some left over.

 

Just make sure you clean the calipers well - I used a wire brush and brake cleaner.
