2.0 Tsi Big Brakes

Hi all,

I am looking at maybe upgrading my brakes to bigger ones. I get a little confused with the fitment of things but it seems alot just fit right on. Can anyone advise me on what I could look at doing in combination with my standard 18" alloys. I quite like the look of the Audi TTRS brakes. Also would this kind of thing need declaring to my insirance? and if so does it usually put the premium up or down being a brake upgrade?

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. Hey guys, Sadly it's looking like my Octavia days which have been pretty brilliant could be at an end, unless I can find a replacement engine. Looking like a blown head gasket/cracked/warped head so it's not driveable now and boiling away (95C+ even without the thermostat in). It's also had a burning engine oil issue for years. It's a 110 ASV engine. So my options are: Say goodbye to my brilliant Octavia ☹️ Try and find a replacement engine, throw it in and hope. Downsides are obviously the

Has anyone fitted a no shroud water pump to the tdi engine? If so, what was the part number of the pump you used? How did you go about stopping fault codes / engine lights and what did you do with the redundant electrical connector?

Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car..
