Aux in for stream Oct mk2

Featured Replies

The listing is correct (to the best of my knowledge) that you need to have a Stream MP3 for this to work.

The earlier Stream (non-MP3) did not have Aux input functionality.

Is yours definitely a Stream and not a Stream MP3?

Not sure, when I go through the menu it has an option for aux.on or off but theres nothing to say it's the mp3 model not sure if it plays mp3's either

The logo to the top right of the screen will say 'Stream MP3' if it is the newer version of the Stream head unit.

It's on a 2006 elegance model... Can't remember seeing mp3 on it anywhere... Anyone know which one will fit it? Also thought about a parrot kit too

I've got one out of my 2003 that would probably work if you wanted it - worked well in my car

Aux in or parrot?

xcarlinks aux in

I'm in exactly the same position as Gissin.

Just bought an early Mk2 Octavia VRS (2006) wit standard Stream stereo and want to know the easiest option for playing an iPod, and bluetooth for the phone.

Had a quick glance on the forums but couldn't find anything on this to hand?

Must be a few people here that have made the conversion?

Thanks,

Rafe

Probably the appropriate Connects 2 unit.
