Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of help.

 

the rear wiper/washer, no plate lamps and heated rear wind have all packed up at the same time. The no plate lamps do glow when the tail gate is partially opened and then the dash illumination also lights up.

 

I'm guessing its an earthing prop and have had the trim off the tail gate, checked the wiring as it goes through the head lining and down inside the n/s/r pillar but have found no obvious faults. around the same time the load space illumination lights stopped working but that before the no plate laps etc gave up.

 

Any ideas where I should be looking?

 

The car is a 53plate 1.9 tdi estate.

I've sorted this with no help from Briskoda members.

It was an earthing prob, the earth wire in the hinge area was hanging on by a tread. I replaced it and all works fine.
