N75 BOOST VALVE Malfunction

Featured Replies

Hi all

My vRS MK1 has run 55000 KMS and all of a sudden there is a spluttering and power loss at the point where the Turbo has to boost power around 1800-2700 RPM and post 3000 RPM the car runs good.

There are no Error logs when connected. So the culprit may be the N75 BOOST VALVE.

I hears that it can be replaced with the latest upgraded version 06A 906 283E.  Is that true ?

Any other information will be helpfull.

Please need your help

Diverter valve would be my first suspect. If your car is a standard VRS 06A 906 283F  is now the correct valve.

Unfortunately no nothing comes up. No error logs also when connected to ECU.

It was a trial and error and also an experienced mechanic can suggest.

When the shuttering issue creeped up the mechanic here removed the N75 Boost valve and did a direct connect. So the car did not have a  Boost pick up but was running like a Naturally Aspirated car. But the shuddering was not there it was smooth 90% of the times.
