odd noise and rattling

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a fabia vrs mk1 2004 (asz), and lately its started to make a lot of interior rattles and other noises one of which sounds like the rear seat belts making an extremely annoying tapping noise, at first i though it was the head rests but the noise persists when these are removed.

I also have a rattle from what sounds like the dash board and what can only be described as whistle from the wind only when i'm at motorway speeds coming from the left hand side of the car, almost like a window is open slightly but all windows are shut.....

Anyone had these problems / solved these problems?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe the LH noise is indicating that you have NO pollen filter fitted, hence the noise.

thanks will check that out.

Try moving the front passenger seat forward. If its too far back and sometimes the seat belt buckle can tap on the handle brake/gear tunnel.
