Hi all,

I swapped out the steering angle sensor module as previous one was acting up got a salvaged part which was 100% (matching part number) so all went well until I start up and now I've an airbag fault! I know the airbag is ok as it didn't show a fault previously, so how do I rectify this? Can I disconnect the battery to clear to car's memory or is it a plug in job?

Did you turn the ignition on with the airbag disconnected?

If so you'll have to clear the fault with vcds.

Ah right cool, think I did by accident, I'll get it plugged in thanks
