Some scrote has gone along most of the cars in our street and scratched along the sides :(

Without digressing into the mentality of such a person, I am now left with 2 doors of my shiny green metallic Octavia with a long white line across them.

On close inspection the scratch doesn't seem to have gone through the paint, it seems the white colour is just the lacquer that has become damaged. I noticed this a lot on the opposite side when someone drove into my off side rear door the day before :cry:

So how do you treat this damage? Can you T-cut away the damaged lacquer or will that make it worse? Is it a re spray job?

Get a quote from one of the franchises which specialise in such repairs, eg ChipsAway or Dentmaster. As they are franchises, it is important to get an independent recommendation for their work, ie a satisfed customer.
