Heater running full blast all the time

Featured Replies

Looks like my Octavia is sulking about the fact that it now lives in the carport instead of the garage and it has decided to try and bake me.

Whatever the Climatronic is set to, hot air is blasting out of all of the vents.

I'm assuming a sensor somewhere is dodgy. Will plug it into VCDS later, see what comes up.

Hmm well it made encouraging noises but the code comes straight back as soon as it's cleared.

Yeah, but is the CC still running in "Frack me that's hot" mode?

It's not! It seems to be behaving normally now. Will leave it alone for now :)

Mine also mysteriously cured itself, I had a spare flap motor sat there frightening me in case I had to fit it. Glad I gave in to the fear as I never had to tackle it in the end.

Sometimes the reset moves the motor to an area of teeth on the gear it hasn't used before and it starts working again - don't talk too loud in case it hears you :giggle:
