As title suggests the near side, side is lower than the off side. Not sure why any suggestions.

If it has rubber bump stops where you close it just adjust them by turning clock or anti-clockwise

This - the rubber caps pop off and you can wind the bolts in and out to suit.

mine dodnt pop off (or at least i didn't try) i just turned the rubber cap
