I've just deactivated the drls on my 2014 64 plate toledo as well. Saved myself £25 quid as I was about to order led bulbs haha

Toledo before facelift has a switch...

Just wait until is law to have drls on all the time. I think it could fail an mot if they are not on as all lights fitted are to be working to pass

Reversing lights aren't MOT-able, nor are front fogs.

Ok but they still have to work

No, they don't.

They don't. I had dummy front fogs on my Octavia and it always passed the MOT.

As above, reversing lights and DRLs will not fail an MOT if they are present and not working.......UNLESS the not-working status causes a warning light to display on the dash. The latest revisions to the MOT allows them to fail you for dash warning lights being on including faulty bulb warning, engine management light etc.

Correct, you also don't need a rear wiper or the spray working on it as that's not part of the mot either. These and the above are considered courtesy items so therefor do not need to be working
