S100 Wheels/Tyres

Featured Replies

Hii,

The tyres of my S100 are perished so i'm looking to replace them and have a few questions:

As far as i'm aware they're tubed tyres, is it possible to just put tubeless tyres on the orginal wheels?

Are there any other cars with the same PCD and centre-bore that will be easier to find?

Cheers, Benn

Ok, I don't know the S100 specifics, but here are some generalities about tubed and tubeless wheels and tyres.

You can fit inner tubes with tubeless wheels and tyres, and, with inner tubes, fit tube tyres to tubeless wheels.

You can not use tube tyres without inner tubes, regardless of whether the wheels are tubed or tubeless type.

So the first thing you need to establish is whether or not you have tubeless wheels. If you do, getting new tubeless tyres is fairly easy.

If you have tubed wheels, the easiest thing to do may be to contact a specialist such as Longstone.

IT' be not come across an s type that uses tubed tyres before - what age is it and is it a UK spec car? In terms of what else will fit, any Estelle or rapid alloys and also classic beetle wheels have the same pcs and large enough centres.
