Can anybody confirm for me which DAB aerial the PreFL came fitted with from factory and part number if possible.

As far as I'm aware DAB wasn't ever an option on the pre facelift Octavia

Correct. I had to run a dab rg316 cable from my stereo to the back of the roof AND change the connectors for the am/fm, gps and gsm connectors when fitting a newer aerial. I bought item 281772062451 from eBay, part number 6R0035501D.

Retro fit it is then lol.

I've just purchased part number 6R0035501D and have a cable made up so hopefully I won't have too much hassle.

No pictures sorry but it's the screw on type to fakra that are needed. I used co-star.co.uk as I recall and just asked them to make some up. They were pretty helpful.

I've checked and the DAB plugs on the new aerial and new lead are fine.

Will the aerial currently fitted be the screw on type then?

Yes screw on/off under the headlining. Black for dab, white for am/fm, blue for gps and also purple gsm for phone.
