for a couple of weeks now my pc has been just going nuts,ie the mouse thing just goes all over the place and it seems to close n start programmes.did system restore and didnt work and i then go a pop from this winfixer crap saying is your computer being irratic etc and so i thought it was a virus :finger: although virus and spyware checkers didnt pick anything up so just formatted my hard drive and its still doing it!!!!!

its really ****ing me off when im doing homework or video editting etc cause it just closes the programme and i lose all the work.anyone any idea, only thing i can think of is maybe my mouse is gettin abit old and done

Check if the PSU fan is still working, and the same for the CPU one.

If there is a lot of dust buildup it's worth getting rid of that too, just don't use the hoover at full blast or your motherboard will look (too) empty afterwards ;)

Is it a male or female mouse?

If it's male give it a good clean as this happens a lot with our PCs at work.

Is it a male or female mouse?

Easy way to check, look underneath it for ball5 :)

(sorry couldn't resist)

Male mice suck (not that ive had experience  ) Nice optical one is the way forward.

Yup get checking the state of the inside of your pc. It may need a good clean.

A decent Microsoft optical will set you back 12 notes. Get one and let us know if yuo are still having erratic problems. You may have more than one issue.
