5yrs since I sold my mk1 Octy VRS but returning to Skoda & excited.

We've test driven a bunch of similar cars from Honda, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota, Seat, VW over the past week, & some main dealer salesmen have been ignorant, patronising, & drowning in their own BS, their rambling on about the current "technology" fad became more than irritating. Some just couldn't seem to grasp that we weren't interested in whether our Smart phones would sync up with the bloody toiuch screen radio!!

In the end it was an easy choice as the Fabia Monte Carlo 110ps just blew us away. We got a great deal from Capitol Skoda in Newport, & the staff were a cut above every other main dealer we've been to. Only Skoda were happy & comfortable to talk about the actual car! :clap:

Slightly sad that our Ibiza FR will be going as it's been a great trouble free car & we've enjoyed ownership, but very excited about the impending new arrival.

That's lovely mate. I'm thinking a used FR for my next car, used to have a toledo V5 and that was great. Anyway, enjoy, completely get where you're coming from about main dealer pomp and that technobabble. Lovely little car that
